A successful incumbent is expected to (i) legally represents and holds power of attorney on behalf of chamberlain group to conduct all customs licensed brokerage business, and (ii) manage and update (us/mx) customs tariff schedules for all imports and exports in all customs' systems. 3+ years in a customs compliance analyst role, and with previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. And a minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, supply chain, or management, advanced english required. Legally represents and holds power of attorney on behalf of chamberlain group to conduct all customs licensed brokerage business manage and update (us/mx) customs tariff schedules for all imports and exports in all customs' systems supervise the (us/mx & international) customs clearance process for imports, exports and red lighted cargo responsible for ensuring (us/mx) new/updated customs rules and regulations are understood and communicated through the customs group supervises the crossdocking functions in the u.s. to ensure that material and mro received is crossed to chamberlain group in a timely manner responsible for procuring (us/mx) import customs permits for special commodities and raw materials from various mexican government entities responsible for customs systems updates as communicated by (us/mx) customs to ensure continued compliance maintain a good working relationship with both u.s. and mexican customs agencies responsible for cross training customs team members across all roles to ensure coverage of all tasks and duties responsible for preparing and submitting monthly and annual reporting to applicable government agencies protect chamberlain group's reputation by keeping information confidential maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
