We are looking for a hse coordinador to join our quality & safety team.
based in tetla - mexico.
main responsibilities:
1.
manage inspection work on the premises of the company/unit, assessing the risks of accidents, fire, landslides, among others, and proposing preventive and corrective solutions;
2.
support the definition of the management plan for the hse department and manage fixed hse costs;
3.
support the definition of hse investments and monitor the implementation of actions approved in the management plan;
4.
responsible for reporting, monitoring and critical analysis of tetla plant hse indicators.
5.
responsible for management of government operating licenses.
6.
monitor compliance with the specific requirements of the environmental management system, isos and/or integrated (hse) related to health and safety and the environment in accordance with regulatory and corporate standards;
7.
carry out, together with the integrated management system coordinator, the annual planning of hse activities: analysis of legislation; definition of objectives and goals; assessment of compliance with legal and other requirements, internal audits, critical analysis meetings by management, meetings with the local hse group;
8.
identify, together with the hr-development area, the environmental and safety training needs, formalizing an annual training program, so that all personnel who perform tasks with an environmental and safety impact receive appropriate training.
9.
carry out internal hse audits at the units, in accordance with pre-established guidelines and strategies and current legislation and, when required, follow-up audits by clients and certifiers;
10.
develop and implement the environmental risk prevention program (ppra) or coordinate the work when carried out by specialized companies.
11.
support safety technicians and the investigation and analysis of accidents and accidents, as well as prepare inspections/expertise at the accident site, prepare specific reports to comply with legislation and send them to government agencies.
12.
prepare internal accident prevention rules and specify fire-fighting and individual and collective protection equipment, as well as prepare and validate labor and social security documents inherent to the occupational safety area.
13.
ensure necessary technical support to security technicians and environmental analysts in the performance of their activities;
14.
ensure that conservation, cleaning and hygiene procedures are observed in the work area, as well as guide third parties in compliance with safety, discipline, accident prevention and environment standards and indicate safety equipment to be adopted on the premises of the company.
15.
develop, represent and manage environmental authorization and licensing processes with environmental agencies; prepare/manage the plans and programs to comply with the requirements for the installation and operation of new processes/manufacturing units;
who are we looking for?
- graduated in engineering, environmental engineering or environmental technologist and specialization in occupational safety engineering.
