*position summary*:
we are looking for an engineering & maintenance manager with solid experience in the injection molding industry to lead the engineering and maintenance departments, ensuring compliance with quality standards, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
*main responsibilities*:
- lead and manage the engineering and maintenance teams.
- implement continuous improvement projects and lean manufacturing practices.
- plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- coordinate new product launches and apqp activities.
- resolve quality issues and provide technical support.
- manage capital budgets and investment plans.
- ensure compliance with iso *, iso *, and iatf * standards.
*requirements*:
- bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering (required).
- minimum 5 years in a managerial role in engineering and maintenance.
- experience in injection molding processes and equipment maintenance.
- knowledge of tooling and mold maintenance.
- continuous improvement methodologies (six sigma, lean, a3).
- advanced english (bilingual - english/spanish).
- strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
