main responsibilities:
* request, store, and rotate supplies in accordance with fifo (first in, first out).
* minimize waste, control portions, and maintain the cold chain.
* perform cash register closures, record sales, deliver cash, and update accounts receivable lists.
* handle point-of-sale transactions and ensure correct pricing in the system.
* assist with catering setup following distintivo h guidelines, including temperature control.
* label products, check temperatures, disinfect fruits, vegetables, equipment, and utensils.
* general cleaning of food and beverage areas.
* participate in weekly/monthly inventories and organize equipment in storage areas.
* fill out logs, support training sessions, report anomalies, and assist in recertification processes.
* cover staff absences and support catering before, during, and after events.
requirements:
* technical degree, undergraduate student, or bachelor's degree in gastronomy or related field.
* minimum of 2 years of proven experience in restaurant and hotel service.
* knowledge of cashier operations in sales; point-of-sale software experience is desirable.
* attention to detail and excellent customer service.
* organization and responsibility in handling money.
* familiarity with distintivo h standards is desirable.
