*about this opportunity*: we are now looking for a strategic sourcing manager to strengthen ericsson's driven position by improving supplier value, proactively handling business risks, and contributing to the creation of value for the customer.
the position is an individual contributor and will not have direct reports.
the strategic sourcing manager is accountable for evaluating, qualifying, and selecting suppliers for the external purchase and indirect products and services: professional services, legal service, finance services, marketing, real estate, facility, people/rh, insurance, banking and mobility services (cars).
this person is responsible for all commercial relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholder management in latin america countries.
we are in need of someone who is result oriented, has excellent persuading and influencing competences, possesses a deep analytical capability, and is skilled in both strategic sourcing and relationship building abilities.
*you will act as individual contributor in*: - lead, prepare & complete the rfx process - evaluate and select suppliers with all sourcing compliance requirements - conduct supplier negotiation to build more value for ericsson - ensure supplier agreement implementation with accurate contract terms and conditions - contribute to the long-term business with suppliers - actively contribute to sourcing category strategy - ensure that sourcing kpis & targets are met with great success - ensure 100% compliance on sourcing process follow up *you will bring*: - education: administration, international trade or related.
- proficient in english, spanish - proven experience of min 7 years in the strategic sourcing role in latin america region.
- sourcing practice, process & strategy knowledge - experience in indirect sourcing categories: professional services (financial, legal services), marketing, real estate, facility management, people/hr/benefits, insurance, mobility services/cars - demonstrated advanced negotiation skills, commercial and financial skills - change & improvement management skills - deciding & initiating action - local laws & regulations knowledge, contract management - delivering results & excellent stakeholder management skills - persuading & influencing competences, excellent communication skills *location: mexico city or colombia* *why join ericsson?
