data & analytics coe is a diverse team of technology enthusiast enabling our global business. Jci has embarked on a data strategy that focuses on establishing strong technology coe, enterprise data management & cloud-based business solutions.
how you will do it- helping design and build the next generation of the platform, enhancing performance, reliability, and scalability.- engineering platform components and services that support infrastructure at scale.- driving automation, observability, and resilience into the platform.- working in a collaborative team environment with cutting-edge technologies.- solution new cloud approaches to events that surface to improve the operations of cloud infrastructure- manage all scheduled maintenance across all services, in support of service level agreementsdevelop and maintain automation and deployment processes to enable and improve developer experience and efficiency.- maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.- generate and analyze performance reports and recommend improvements.- document incidents and resolutions to improve the knowledge base and future response.- submission of change control for all scheduled maintenance- implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the platform is performing at its best and identify areas for improvement.what we look for- bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.- azure certifications such as azure administrator associate, azure devops engineer expert, or similar.- 8 plus years of experience with platform administration, at least 5 years with bigdata and cloud technologies.- minimum of 2 years with implementation and operational support of snowflake platform or with its complementary technologies: azure data factory (adf), azure sql data warehouse (sqldw), azure data lake storage (adls), blob storage, sql database, apache databricks, azure synapse analytics- proficiency with azure cloud services and management.- experience with ci/cd tools like azure devops, jenkins, etc.- familiarity with iac tools such as terraform, arm templates, or similar.- strong scripting skills in languages like bash, powershell, or python.- understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.- excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
