we're looking for a hands-on global seo & organic growth manager to own and scale organic traffic and revenue across our multi-country ecommerce ecosystem and supporting content sites.
this role is full ownership.
you will design, execute, and optimize the entire organic growth engine end-to-end — technical seo, content, link building, international seo, analytics, and ai/llm discovery (geo/aio).
no agencies.
no hand-offs.
you are the in-house authority accountable for results.
you'll collaborate with cro/shopify, creative, product, customer service, and leadership teams to align priorities and ship work, but you are the final owner of organic strategy, execution, and performance across markets.
proven hands-on experience scaling ecommerce seo with measurable traffic and revenue growth
ability to personally implement seo changes or produce dev-ready tickets with qa ownership
demonstrated experience with multi-country seo (hreflang, canonicals, localization)
strong technical seo skills across audits, fixes, and deployment coordination
real content strategy experience from research through publishing and optimization
proven link-building and digital pr experience (no spam or shortcuts)
backlink risk management experience, including toxic link cleanup and disavow strategies
strong analytics capability using gsc, ga4, and keyword tracking tools
tools & skills
google search console (expert level)
ga4 (seo performance and attribution validation)
ahrefs, semrush, or equivalent
screaming frog or similar technical audit tools
shopify seo experience (themes, collections, structured data basics)

organic & multi-country seo strategy
own organic growth strategy across multi-country ecommerce stores and supporting sites
define site and market roles to avoid cannibalization and maximize coverage
implement and manage hreflang, canonical rules, internal linking, and localization strategies
build scalable "winner" frameworks to replicate successful content and page structures across markets
technical seo ownership
audit and improve crawlability, indexation, core web vitals, site speed, redirects, and duplicate content
own shopify seo fundamentals: collections, filters/facets, pagination, thin pages, and index bloat control
implement and validate structured data (product, faq, howto, review, organization)
create dev-ready tickets, coordinate fixes, qa implementations, and verify results
content & editorial engine
build keyword strategy and seo-driven site architecture (collections, category hubs, comparisons, guides)
own editorial planning, content briefs, publishing workflows, and content refresh cycles
ensure content aligns with local search intent, terminology, seasonality, and competitive landscapes
create seo launch playbooks for new products and collections
authority, link building & digital pr
execute sustainable link acquisition strategies via outreach, partnerships, features, and resource placements
reclaim unlinked mentions and build long-term publisher relationships
define and track authority targets tied directly to rankings and revenue impact
backlink risk & profile management
monitor backlink health and identify toxic or risky patterns
execute cleanup strategies including link removals and disavow when justified
maintain anchor text balance, velocity awareness, and documentation of all actions
ai / llm discovery (geo / aio)
build source-of-truth pages designed for ai citation (faqs, specs, comparisons, definitions)
strengthen entity signals through consistent brand and product information across trusted sources
publish structured, reference-ready content for ai-driven search systems
track ai visibility via citations, mentions, branded queries, and serp feature presence
reporting & performance analysis
maintain weekly kpi dashboards (organic traffic, rankings, index coverage, backlinks, site health)
deliver monthly organic performance reviews with revenue and market-level insights
identify changes, diagnose causes, and define clear next actions
