role overview
the observability team builds a cloud‑native monitoring stack that composes best‑in‑class open‑source tools. The stack is opinionated, resilient, and scalable, providing deep insights out of the box with a polished user experience while remaining lightweight for administrators. You will develop the stack to monitor applications and infrastructure across kubernetes, openstack, bare‑metal, vms, containers, and data from juju, gathering telemetry from multiple sources.

this role is fully remote and can be based in any emea or americas region.
Responsibilities
collaborate proactively with a globally distributed team.
Write, test, and document high‑quality code to create new features.
Debug issues and interact with a vibrant community.
Review code produced by other engineers.
Attend conferences to represent canonical and the charmed observability stack.
Work from home, with global travel 2‑4 weeks for internal and external events.
Qualifications
