ansell is looking for a manager, industrial sales training in mexico or colombia!
in this position you will dedicate half their time in classroom, and half their time in field. The manager's classroom teaching activities include the delivery of the lessons and classes outlined through all three phases of the lac sales orientation program, as well as external training as directed by the department lead. The manager's time in field will focus on continued education, technical training, and support.

what your role will be?
* delivery of new-hire industrial product and guardian classes (3-4x/year).
* delivery of why ansell sales training (1-2x/year).
* delivery of trade school external education curriculum.
* conduct train-the-trainer sessions for the field based (sr. Tm) field training teams, and periodically audit their activities and provide coaching/direction as necessary.
* lead the development of classroom-based training content in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
* identify and recommend innovative ways to deliver learning content, incorporating effective use of technology.
* partner with end user marketing to ensure proper alignment of content in the digital asset management (dam) system that aligns to sales training story telling direction.
* support with the development of industrial learning functionality within learning management systems (lms).
* bring to life the why ansell story through interactive sessions with key customers at regional hubs.
* assessing current or future employee training needs through direct communication, conducting surveys or other methods (such as creating and proctoring a field-sales focused "training council").
* develop cadence with field based regional sales managers to understand and triage field-based training needs.
* the industrial sales training manager will support training build in collaboration with channel teams, then engage with top tier distributors.
* support the development of instructional trainings for strategic account end users (those who wear the ppe at partner facilities).
* follow up, field based, new hire training support for new hires.
* provide content development support and delivery support for regional and national sales meetings.
* track progress and impact of training, report to commercial leadership.
education
* administration, commercial management, or related areas.
job experience
* 7-10 years experience across sales and sales training, ideally in industrial settings.
* experience in content development and instructional design.
* experience working with learning management systems (lms) preferred.
* experience in the protective products arena in industrial markets preferred.
knowledge and skills
* strong knowledge in selling skills.
* strong soft skills (eq, communication, influencing, giving feedback, listening).
* expertise and affinity with the ansell guardian program.
* knowledge of key ansell products.
* strong analytical skills.
* computer literacy (word, excel, power point, smartsheet).
* able to interact effectively with various regional cross-functional teams.
* native spanish speaker, ideally fluent in brazilian portuguese and english.
