what you’ll be doing:
* oversee logistics and materials management to ensure timely delivery, with an emphasis on supporting and coaching the team for enhanced performance.
* lead customer service and planning teams to improve service levels, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.
* control procurement, inventory, and warehouse operations, aligned with production schedules while providing guidance on best practices.
what we’re looking for:
* bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of experience in logistics and materials management, particularly in coaching and developing teams.
* strong knowledge of erp systems, particularly oracle and rapid response, and familiarity with safety regulations within logistics and warehousing.
* experience with ford, gm, stellantis supplier trainings
* iatf 16949 & iso 9001 (automotive quality management)
* inventory & warehouse management (kanban, fifo/lifo)
* business level english skills required
* supply chain & logistics management (jit, jis, lean logistics)
* production planning & control (scheduling, capacity planning)
* automotive & manufacturing knowledge (apqp, ppap, iatf 16949)
* proficiency in erp & mrp systems (sap, oracle)
* inventory & warehouse management (kanban, fifo/lifo)
* knowledge of regulatory compliance
