Job descriptionthe marketing manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the hotel's brand awareness, drive revenue growth, and position the property as a leading luxury destination in cancún.this role oversees digital marketing, branding, pr, advertising, and promotional campaigns while ensuring alignment with the hotel's business objectives.key responsibilities:1. Marketing strategy & brand management:- develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote the hotel's luxury positioning, dining outlets, spa, events, and guest experiences.- maintain and strengthen the hotel's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels (website, social media, print, etc.).- monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to adjust strategies accordingly.2. Digital marketing & online presence:- lead social media strategy (instagram, facebook, linkedin, tiktok, etc.), engaging with influencers and generating visually compelling content.3. Public relations & media relations:- collaborate with pr agencies and media outlets to secure coverage in luxury travel publications, blogs, and broadcast channels.- organize press trips, fam tours, and media events to showcase the hotel's offerings.- handle crisis communications and maintain a positive brand reputation.4. Advertising & promotions:- plan and execute multi-channel advertising campaigns (print, digital, ota partnerships, etc.).- develop seasonal promotions, packages, and partnerships with luxury brands or local attractions.- monitor campaign performance and roi, adjusting strategies as needed.5. Content creation & storytelling:- supervise the production of high-quality visual and written content (photos, videos, blogs, newsletters).- ensure all marketing materials reflect the hotel's luxury standards and appeal to target audiences (leisure travelers, honeymooners, corporate clients, etc.).6.
