role overview
coordinates and oversees work at a field site, providing quality service to the customer. The role may include sales, job design, execution, and follow‑up activities. Responsibilities include planning necessary for the job, giving instructions to crew and equipment used, directing service operators, coordinating clean‑up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job, evaluating crew performance, and training operators to improve job performance.
responsibilities
* perform minor/major maintenance of equipment following iet service site quality check lists and procedures.
* serve as primary contact to coordinate activities with customer representative and site team at the customer job site.
* provide records of all activities accomplished at the customer site to the baker hughes iet supervisor.
* execute all required responsibilities safely by following iet service applicable processes and procedures.
* perform other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work.
* provide limited troubleshooting on equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the field.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree preferred.
* 5–6 years of industry experience and iet product line training required.
* strong functional/technical, customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and team‑working skills.
* specialized in instrumentation and control panels.
* knowledge in control systems such as markvie.
* knowledge of products such as aero lm2500, lm6000, heavy‑duty gas turbines, centrifugal compressors.
* knowledge in mapping dle/tuning dln for turbine is a plus.
* intermediate to advanced english level.
* utilization around 85%; able to travel locally and internationally.
* able to work offshore.
* certifications: t bosiet/thuet are a plus.
