*purpose*:
- the quality assurance supervisor manage quality auditor associates to comply with product release schedule program in accordance with the quality system, while ensuring that health, safety and environmental requirements and company policies are used effectively and efficiently._
- _
- the quality assurance supervisor plans or adapts the new methods or procedures to control or coordinate quality assurance role and all the aspects of several projects at the same time and in the solution of the related and technical projects.
the holder of the position will also use the quality engineering principles and investigation skills for the resolution of complex problems.
he/she will use the appropriate risk management to prevent the unforeseen failure modes and improve the capacity of the processes._

*you will be responsible for*:
in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and corporate johnson & johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
*_ product quality, control and disposition and performance standards_*
- _ responsible for providing leadership and technical knowledge for daily quality assurance and ensuring that established metrics are met._
- _ provides supervision, mentoring, coaching, performance revision, development plans and planning of the succession for others (when applies).

- _ conducts or supports the investigations, bounding, documentation, revision and approval of the non-conformities (ncs), preventive and corrective actions (capas), customer complaints and escalation of quality problems when applicable._
- _ defines sampling plans and approves inspection methods for evaluation and acceptance of components and finished product._
- _ provides support for the resolution of complex problems (technically) associated to the manufacturing process at a local or franchise level._

*_product grading / process_*
- _ develops, maintains and checks that the measuring methods are appropriate for the manufacturing process._
- _ develops, interprets and properly implements process monitoring and control methods consistent with the risk level of the process/product._
- _ evaluates the need of risk mitigation techniques due to the product classification, potential types of defects, defect frequency, severity, patient risk, process capacity, process controls, etc._
*_ business improvement_*
- _ revision / analysis of the effectiveness of pdca, six sigma, kaizen, lean techniques and other improvement tools and programs._
- _ performs benchmarking to develop more effective methods to improve quality._
- _ establishes the metrics that are the quality indicators._
- _
*_compliance/regulatory_*
- _ revises / analyzes if the current products and processes (including actions or decisions performed) comply with the regulations, such as the qsrs, iso *, etc, including providing support during internal and external audits._
- _ participates in preparation activities for/or interactions with regulatory agencies (fda, jjrc, bsi, etc.).

- _ responds to internal or external audit observations related to the function of quality assurance._
- _ properly establishes and maintains the required documentation of quality assurance activities and/or quality systems._
- _ performs periodical audits in the line to evaluate gmps, production controls, lot segregation and audits to the process according to jjps.
revises the audit results of the area to ensure that the corrective and preventive actions are adequate._
