Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and reliability in production. This role will focus on failure analysis, LabVIEW and PLC programming, and the application of continuous improvement tools to optimize operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain LabVIEW and PLC programs for both new processes and failure analysis of existing equipment.
- Perform failure analysis on processes and equipment, providing effective and sustainable technical solutions.
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement tools (SMED, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, etc.) to drive production efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to design, validate, and improve manufacturing processes.
- Interpret and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) in product and process designs.
- Participate in new product launches and process transfer projects.
- Document processes, prepare technical reports, and maintain manufacturing management systems updated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments.
- Must-have knowledge in:
- LabVIEW (program development & failure analysis).
- PLC (program development & failure analysis).
- Problem-solving methodologies.
- Manufacturing Core Tools : SMED, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, etc.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;).
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of motors and pumps.
- Knowledge of injection molding.
