the koch employee services team is hiring a business systems analyst to support business outcomes across the koch industries companies.

- story/epic creation and prioritization. You will partner with product owners, architects, and engineers to ensure their work is tracked and prioritized based on value and timelines.
- gather and analyze business requirements to understand their needs, identify requirements, and translate those requirements into technical specifications that can be used by delivery team
- leverage data to derive insights and drive data-driven decision-making. Communicate recommendations with stakeholders.
- collaborating with businesses and global teams to understand data requirements and develop analytical solution
- creating documentation on requirements and solutions that is easily consumed by a global audience by both customers and support organizations
- ensure completed work meets agreed upon acceptance criteria and update stakeholders as needed.
*who you are (basic qualifications)*
- experience working in agile based methodology (kanban, scrum)
- demonstrates advanced proficiency in both written and spoken english, enabling effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients
- skillfully communicates complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a strong understanding of project goals and requirements.
- displays a high level of empathy, understanding, and consideration for the needs and perspectives of customers and colleagues, ensuring a collaborative and positive working environment.
- actively listens and engages in conversations, attentively absorbing and comprehending information, and asking pertinent questions to gather comprehensive insights and ensure accurate requirements capture.
- demonstrates a genuine curiosity about the intricacies of business processes, technology systems, and industry trends, driving continuous learning and innovation to provide well-informed recommendations and solutions
- experience engaging with customers through soliciting, capturing, and critically thinking through requirements
- use knowledge and data to understand business needs, efficiently convert requests into actionable assignments, and solution business needs while using good economic thinking
- experience influencing and challenging peers and stakeholders to drive to a common goals and solutions
- enrich employee experience for team and enterprise to collaborate by acting as a liasson for integrated teams and providing data that helps bring actionable insights
