This mcad engineer hourly position is a great opportunity to take an essential role in the success of our business by participating on mechanical design projects for different oem’s. *job responsibilities*:
- product mechanical design at component, subassembly and assembly level using nx (3d & 2d)
- design for manufacturability (tooling revision with suppliers & assembly process with manufacturing engineers)
- customer cad data exchange platforms ( ford, gm, stellantis & others )
- dimensioning and tolerancing of mechanical drawings
- must be able to work with multiple people and work as a team.
- active participation in plan to address dept risk and opportunities.
- active participation to achieve quality objectives.
- participate in updates to mcad process, lessons learned and design standards.
*job skills & qualifications*:
- experience on customer cad data exchange platforms ( ford, gm, stellantis & others )
- experience on customer 3d & 2d standards (ford, gm, stellantis, etc)
- nx or similar 3d design software
- bilingual english spanish
- excellent communication skills
- proactive
- analytic
- self-motivated
