as part of our gsc americas team, you will work across a global network, collaborating with diverse professionals and embracing challenges that inspire growth in a world leader in transport and logistics.as a tax supervisor, you will be introduced to analytical assignments and stakeholder engagement, lead a team of tax specialists, and supervise their assignments to contribute to process improvements.

these new locations are designed to enhance customer experience by being closer to them, enabling multilingual and scalable talent availability, standardizing processes, and supporting growing customer needs.key responsibilitiessupervise and analyze indirect tax returns and various tax support workpapers to ensure tax obligations are up to date in various regions.perform data collection and high-level processing.analyze financial data and risks and effectively communicate them with key stakeholders.analyze tax laws and regulations and prepare technical reports on their impact on the organization's operations.supervise responses to complex information requests.prepare correspondence and provide high quality client-facing reports to management, tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants.deliver on defined tasks and provide support to others; support and coordinate the team on ad hoc projects.we are looking for1-2 years of experience as a team lead or supervisor.
bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 6 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in one or more of the following fields (in order of relevance):preparation/review of indirect tax compliance processes.providing data/information for international tax compliance and tax audit support.process management and improvement.experience gained inshared services or centre of excellence in large multinational companies.
combination of big 4 advisory firms with one or more of the above.knowledge of financial & accounting systems and processes.
experience with erp systems (preferred sap) and awareness of or experience with tax compliance & reporting technologies and effective process & control operation.willingness to learn new applications and explore smart ways of working.good verbal and written communication skills with different levels of stakeholders, internal and external.b2 english level (required).
