Dnv - business assurance mexico is seeking a sales manager who can lead ambitious growth.
the successful candidate will be a leader focused on driving and achieving results to ensure the sales team achieves strategic objectives related to revenue generation, profitability, and greater market penetration.the overall responsibility will be to drive and support the implementation of the regional plan approved by the area manager.
this plan is focused on the aggressive growth of our business in mexico.
the sales manager will manage and drive the country's sales organization of approximately 6 people and follow up with local managers, sales team, and key account managers accordingly.
the position requires active sales and management of both small and key accounts.the sales manager is required to be in the office at least 3 times per week, to take advantage of proximity to many business leaders and salespeople.
this role will report to our dnv mexico office in mexico city.what you'll dodrive the sales force to achieve expected sales results, with accountability in all dimensions: service, geography, sectors, and individual customers, following dnv procedures and pricing policieswith support from the marketing department, develop and/or implement adequate sales and commercial approaches and strategies to achieve objectives, including relevant sales dimensions and channels to maximize results, go-to-market approaches, strategic relationships and alliances, market strategies and processesensure the development of sales resources in the region, including coaching, managing, mentoring, and leading performance, as well as, increasing the competence of the sales teamsact as key account manager (kam) for selected strategic customersensure quality of sales in terms of proper implementation of our internal chart of authority and discounting policies in order to achieve the agreed level of profitabilitycentralize the business development processes, redesign processes in tight connection with local sales and operations; drive business development initiatives and business opportunities (e.g., new markets, new customers)gather and share market intelligence information and collaborate with other relevant functions in the region for the identification of product and service development initiativeshighlight areas where operational readiness needs improvement, including the reliability and quality of the sales forecasts, in part, by ensuring high-quality data in our internal crm systemreview marketing and sales performance, establish and implement actions to improve resultsbe responsible for managing international opportunities, according to the global market function directions and in cooperation with the global bidding officecollaborating in the identification of opportunities for partnership and m&a in the regionlead and manage the individual performances of a group of local salesbenefitsbenefits may vary based on position, tenure, location, and employee electionvacation bonuses paygroup health insurance plangroup retirement plan with company matcheducation reimbursement programcompany-provided life insurance planfood vouchersflexible work schedule with hybrid opportunitiesdnv is a proud equal-opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
