*summary*:
*key responsibilities*:
- dispatch drivers for cross-border lanes between mexico and the u.s.
- generate all required documentation, including *carta porte, manifiesto, and i-94 forms*.
- track and update *etas* to customers in a timely manner.
- monitor and ensure *hos (hours of service)* compliance daily.
- authorize *lumper services* outside of business hours as needed.
- validate *proof of delivery (pods)* and upload them into the tms system.
- coordinate with customs brokers and internal departments to ensure clearance and crossing efficiency.
- provide support to drivers with routing, emergencies, or document issues.
- follow up on trailer status and ensure availability aligns with operational plans.
- assist in maintaining updated records of drivers, equipment, and border documents.
*requirements*:
- *fluency in english* (spoken and written) - _required_
- must hold a *valid u.s. visa* and be able to attend in-person meetings in *laredo, tx once a week*- _required_
- minimum *2 years of experience* in a dispatch or transportation coordination role
- experience with *cross-border* trucking operations - _required_
- familiarity with *carta porte* and other required customs documentation
- proficient in tms platforms and microsoft office tools
- strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends - _required_
