about the role:
to support the operations of our site, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing improvement initiatives and executing them using pdca or dmaic methodologies.
key responsibilities:
* planning and monitoring: prepares and monitors short-term and long-range plans regarding expansion procedures, staffing, equipment, vehicles, and products at the operation.
* training and development: assists in providing technical training to personnel in workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training sessions in areas such as operations, manning, contingency planning, productivity, cost effectiveness, and manpower scheduling.
* productivity and performance: monitors productivity, service, and cost performance in all areas of operations and assists personnel in implementing required changes.
* communication and collaboration: maintains communication between operations and corporate departments to provide technical expertise relating to facility requests, including lease termination, new location, five-year planning, equipment justification, layout, vehicle planning, and cost justification.
* innovation and improvement: assists in studies designed to implement sound, innovative engineering concepts into operations and thus produce benefits for the organization and its customers.
* management information systems: prepares management information systems to aid in the control and development of operational goals.
* special projects: participates in special staff support projects.
requirements:
* education: bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or industrial and systems engineering.
* language skills: english language with a minimum toeic score of 650 or toefl score of 550.
* desirable knowledge:
o six sigma
o lean manufacturing
o iso9001 or other iso norms
o supply chain or logistics
