This Position reports to:
Quality Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Apodaca.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Will be responsible of monitoring and the improvement of the Quality KPIs defined by the business.
- Be able of develop the analysis of the issues detected during the assembly process in order to ensure the high quality of the product. (RCA, A3, DMAIC Methodology, 8Ds, etc.)
- Ensure the fully compliance of the QMS along the different processes.
- Assisting in implementing internal controls to verify that processes meet the requirements and making sure that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating risks.
- Ensure the inspection process trough the different steps of the assembly.
- People Management +30 quality inspectors to ensure the correct support to the production line as well as to give support to the different needs of the team.
Qualifications for the role:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or anything related to a manufacturing process.
- 5+ years experience in Quality Engineering & Quality Control in manufacturing industry.
- Experience in DMAIC methodology.
- Core Tools experience as FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, etc. (Desirable).
- Experience leading a team is a must, people management (Blue Collar).
- Experience in effectively resolving conflicts.
- Experience in root cause analysis, 8D\'S methodology.
- Green Belt Certification (Desirable).
- ISO Accreditation as Internal Auditor (Desirable).
- Advanced English level.
- Self-driven, collaborative, solution-focused approach, strong written & spoken communication skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out metrological measurements of manufactured products according to a plan;
- Implementation of methods for assessing quality and improving production processes;
- Conduct internal quality audits of the production processes; Implementation of forms and processes in the QMS quality control system.
What’s Required:
- College graduate (mechanical engineering, standardization and metrology);
- Skills in quality control in production;
- English - Intermediate / Above Intermediate;
What’s Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in Quality Control operations in any branch of industry, Food, Automotive are preferable;
- Experience in Lean manufacturing is desirable (5S, Poka-yoke, embedded quality, VSM, 6-sigma).
