Role Description
The Jefe de Taller Mecánico Diesel is a full-time, on-site position located in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. MX. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a diesel mechanic workshop. Responsibilities include planning production schedules, managing repair and maintenance workflows, ensuring quality standards are met, and conducting regular inspections. The individual will lead a team of mechanics, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure safety compliance within the workshop.
Qualifications
* Experience in Production Planning and Production Management, with the ability to efficiently allocate resources and establish production schedules.
* Proficiency in Machining processes and the ability to supervise and guide technical operations related to diesel mechanics.
* Knowledge of Quality Management principles to ensure that maintenance and repair services meet established standards.
* Ability to perform and oversee routine Inspection processes to ensure equipment is functioning properly and to prevent breakdowns.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a workshop environment.
* Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is an advantage.
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred; relevant certifications in diesel mechanics or workshop management are a plus.
