this position is for an american company dedicated to financing, buying, and selling used cars, with its main office
based in dallas, texas.
overall responsibility
the instructional designer will use theory and research to design and develop materials for the training team that educate and instruct tricolor's team members in the workplace. The main responsibility is to identify the performance, skills, knowledge, information, and attitude gaps of our team members and create, select, and suggest learning experiences to fill these gaps. The individual in this role will be idea-driven and passionate about making learning a positive and empowering experience for our team members.
qualifications
•
• bachelor's degree in instructional design, or education.
•
• 4+ years of experience in a related role
•
• teaching or training background, preferably in a sales environment.
•
• experience in designing content for sales and sales management
•
• experience ensuring training content supports and reinforces existing process and procedures
•
• in-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
•
• proficiency with learning management systems (lms)
•
• bilingual english / spanish, required.
key responsibilities
· working hand in hand with the training team and the different departments across the company to determine what needs to be learned.
· developing entire courses and curriculum. Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content.
· ensuring the content matches the established learning objectives.
· reshaping and updating the content as business needs change.
· structuring content and learning activities to optimize the training experience.
· creating and testing content and learning material in different formats, such as audio, simulations, role-play, games, manuals, videos, presentations, demonstrations, and multimedia.
· creates computer-based training (cbt) modules and storyboards.
· managing the learning management system, to upload, review, and update content.
· assist in the development of coursework into a learning management system, as well as the development of related support material.
· script, shoot, and edit videos to be used within the learning program.
· multimedia design and develop animation for integration into the lms.
· devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
· maintain project and training documentation.
· keeps current on best practices in instructional design.
· conducting research as required.
salary and benefits:
* $25000 to $30000 monthly gross salary

*this is a full-time on-site position, monday to friday 8am to 6pm
