The area sales executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, business development and customer satisfaction across our perfume portfolio in latin america. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work within the exciting travel retail environment, providing hands-on leadership, strategic account management and in-store execution.
key responsibilities:
* sales performance: ensure achievement of sales targets, sell-in and sell-out, working closely with retailers.
* business development: drive business growth with retail/pos teams, including client advisors, regional clients and airport stakeholders.
* p&l management: manage turnover, operating expenses (staffing, incentives, discounts) and profit for key accounts.
* data analysis: analyze sell-in, sell-out and stock data to make strategic adjustments and improve sales.
* inventory management: monitor discontinued references, create exit strategies and manage stock flow of free of charge items.
* performance monitoring: analyze performance of promotions/events and present results to marketing and management teams.
* budget management: responsible for sales budgets, support budgets and budget planning/revisions.
* forecasting: provide product forecasting for baseline and novelties with quarterly revisions.
* relationship building: develop strong professional relationships with key accounts, leading account strategy and negotiations.
* market research: gather, analyze and coordinate market information to become an expert on the geographical zone.
leading and coaching:
* team management: recruit, manage, train, develop and schedule brand's client advisors or other commissioned sales staff.
* goal setting: establish monthly goals and objectives in line with brand/distribution channel strategy.
* coaching: coach, develop and motivate selling teams to meet/exceed sales plans.
* performance evaluation: monitor team productivity and roi effectiveness, resolve performance issues and provide feedback.
