Your consistency and accuracy enable clean data for decision‑making and predictable cash flow. Month‑end close & reporting: own a standardized monthly close; deliver accurate p&l, balance sheet, cash flow by the 20th of each month; ensure zero material errors. Reconciliations: reconcile cash, ar, ap, inventory, loans; maintain organized, audit‑ready records. Ar/ap operations: ensure 100% on‑time vendor payments and disciplined collections; maintain vendor/customer integrity. Cash flow support: maintain a rolling 12‑month cash view with pos plotted before issuance; target ≤5% variance vs. actual cash flows. Inventory & cogs: partner with supply chain to validate inventory and cogs monthly; provide sku‑level profitability insights. Payroll & reimbursements: process payroll and employee reimbursements accurately and on time; ensure compliance. Compliance & audits: uphold gaap standards; support sales tax/payroll tax filings; achieve clean audits with no major findings. Cost discipline: identify and execute expense‑reduction opportunities (target: $50,000/year without sacrificing quality). Process & systems: document sops; help implement tools that reduce manual work (expenses, payroll, tax, close automations). Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 1–2 years of hands‑on accounting experience (open to early‑career talent with strong detail orientation). Demonstrated ownership of month‑end close, reconciliations, and ar/ap. High accuracy, error‑detection mindset, and strong spreadsheet skills. Proactive, organized, and reliable under deadlines; strong cross‑functional communication. Cpa or equivalent certification (preferred, not required). Experience with ecommerce/retail and inventory/cogs flows. Familiarity with xero (or quickbooks online) and close automation tools. Comfort using ai‑enabled workflows to reduce manual tasks.
