Job summary:
we are seeking a highly skilled planner ii to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for proposing and implementing process improvements, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing inventory levels.
about the role:
* propose and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction, automate order entry, expediting, and shipping processes.
* ensure prompt handling of customer inquiries, claims, and complaints, chargebacks, repairs, and returned material.
* provide satisfactory solutions to customers related to lead times and delivery dates.
* manage marketing demand forecast and backlog to determine optimum inventory levels and stocking programs.
* determine causes that affect service levels and drive follow-up actions.
* interface with manufacturing floor teams to provide production schedules.
* collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and accounting teams to develop and implement systems for production scheduling.
requirements:
* minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, schedule production, materials, and supply chain management.
* bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field.
* desirable experience with oracle system.
* knowledge of shipping and logistics management.
* ability to manage and develop personnel.
* experience with make-to-order systems.
preferred qualifications:
* management and negotiation skills with external and internal customers.
* project launch experience.
* management of billing systems.
