the sr commercial finance manager is a strategic finance leader who partners with our innovative medicine mexico leadership team.
in this highly collaborative role, you'll provide financial insights and guidance to inform key decisions that improve profitability and drive value creation.
responsibilities
serve as a trusted financial strategic advisor to the commercial and medical affairs leadership team
conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to monitor performance, deeply understand the business, identify trends and risks, and recommend actions to drive business outcomes
partner cross-functionally to develop strategies balancing revenue, competitiveness and patient access
ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with internal controls
lead the annual business planning process, including developing financial plans, budgets and forecasts aligned with goals
develop compelling business cases to evaluate new opportunities, product launches and initiatives.
support investment decisions and resource prioritization.
manage the marketing controlling team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
prepare and frame financial analyses for senior management reviews.
provide insights on business performance to leadership teams
continuously identify and implement process improvements and best practices
qualifications
education
bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, administration or related field (mba preferred)
experience and skills
required
7+ years in finance, accounting or business analysis roles, including 3+ years in a leadership position
proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, modeling and analysis
superior communication and presentation skills
strong business acumen, critical thinking and analytical capabilities
collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
