We are seeking a skilled cad designer to support product and tooling design activities.
key responsibilities:
* create detailed product drawings based on customer specifications and engineering input, ensuring accuracy and precision.
* develop tooling drawings to optimize material usage and reduce manufacturing time, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
* evaluate all drawings for compliance with cad guidelines, customer standards, and project requirements, maintaining high-quality standards.
* manage drawing revisions and maintain accurate documentation in pdm systems, adhering to established protocols.
* collaborate with design and process engineers by providing timely cad deliverables, fostering effective teamwork.
* participate in design review meetings and provide technical feedback on product improvements, driving innovation and excellence.
* maintain knowledge of software updates and implement new cad functionalities as needed, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
required skills and qualifications:
* a minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with autocad is required, demonstrating proficiency and expertise.
* familiarity with 3d design software is an asset, enhancing creativity and problem-solving skills.
* a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred, showcasing academic achievement and knowledge.
* experience in design engineering, process engineering, project management, quality, or prototyping is beneficial, highlighting transferable skills and adaptability.
* basic knowledge of iatf 16949, iso 14001, and iso 45001 procedures is desirable, demonstrating awareness of industry regulations and standards.
* intermediate english proficiency (technical communication) is essential, facilitating effective collaboration and clear communication.
