Overview
the quality final assembly process technician has the responsibility to execute customer and aptiv eos requirements, ensure product, process and lpa audits, ensure the proper implementation and follow up of the control of non-conforming material procedure, participate proactively in the root cause analysis for customer complaints, internal complaints, ftq top offenders and red tags corrective actions within final assembly process.
main responsibilities

* i. Ensure proper administration of the quality inspectors and improve resources available.
* ii. Ensure proper follow up for the product audit at final assembly areas.
* iii. Ensure proper follow up for process audit and lpa’s audits in all manufacturing final assembly lines.
* iv. Ensure control of non-conforming product, rework process and disposition of nonconforming product.
* v. Ensure corrective action implementation and follow up for internal and external complaints.

responsibilities - final assembly quality inspections
* ensure proper workloads for quality inspectors at fa area and presenteeism of quality inspectors in the final assembly area. Meet with auditors to review problems reported by the previous shift and communicate to manufacturing technicians.
* follow up for product audits at final assembly areas. Conduct product audits by quality inspectors. Ensure proper execution of product audits at final assembly areas. Provide training on iatf product audit requirements for fa quality inspectors. Request action plans for demerits of tiered audits.
* follow up for process audits and lpa audits in all final assembly processes. Conduct process audits by quality inspectors. Ensure training on iatf process audit requirements for fa quality inspectors. Execute lpa audits for the fa area. Request action plans for demerits of tiered audits. Validate key stations and certifications. Ensure operator certifications at key stations. Maintain 5s and material respect in fa area. Audit shelf presence and functionality according to wpo. Verify quality gates presence and functionality. Ensure necessary sampling and certification at each quality gate.
* prepare presentations for daily communication meetings of red labels, internal complaints and customer complaints. Coordinate daily communication meetings for red labels, internal complaints and customer complaints. Conduct audits by quality technician levels. Request action plans for demerits of tiered audits. Monitor pending action plans.
* ensure control of non-conforming product, rework process and disposition of nonconforming product. Ensure control of non-conforming product is handled according to procedure requirements. Maintain documentation and records for non-conforming product. Properly disposition suspect and non-conforming product. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for top quality issues of non-conforming product.
* ensure corrective action implementation and follow up for internal and external complaints. Ensure all corrective actions related to the full process area from internal and external complaints are followed and implemented. Deploy and update all information related to internal and external complaints in quality gates, vps, process letters, work methods, and fast response tracker. Validate effectiveness of corrective actions with tools such as dps, lpa’s, fast response, etc. Look across corrective actions identified for internal/external complaints, ftq top offenders and red tags corrective actions.
