Responsibilities
in this role, your responsibilities will be:
design, lead, and implement continuous improvement and operational transformation projects.
Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction across business processes.
Apply lean, six sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
Develop kpis and dashboards to monitor operational performance.
Train and develop employees in continuous improvement methodologies.
Performs process audits and operational gap analyses.
Collaborate with key areas (production, logistics, finance, quality, etc.) to ensure cross-functional improvement.
Coordinates cross functional teams through strategy deployment (hoshin kanri) and kaizen/kaikaku
ability to develop standard work and create tiered gemba process
requirements
for this role, you will need:
bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, administration, or related field.
5+ years of confirmed experience in a related role, with some combination of experience in key functional roles: continuous improvement, operations, operational excellence.
Good knowledge in core opex tools, vsa, line balancing, heijunka, jidoka, 3p and strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive decision-making.
Experience in manufacturing environments.
Experience in cultural transformations.
Ability to work in cross functional teams.
Good communication skills, bilingual in english and spanish: proficient in both written and spoken languages.
Lean, six sigma, kaizen, tpm, 5s, etc. methodologies.
Process analysis, value stream mapping (vsm), operational indicators.
Data analysis tools (advanced excel, power bi, minitab, etc.).
Analytical thinking and results oriented.
Preferred qualifications
master’s degree in administration, quality, or related fields is desirable.
Experience in lean/six sigma projects (preferably with green belt certification).
Project management (pmp certification or similar)
