Overview
the it operations analyst i is responsible for providing basic support and maintenance for master data within business applications. This role involves troubleshooting data quality and master data application issues, assisting users, and collaborating to implement enhancements. The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, master data expertise, and a commitment to delivering excellent user support.
responsibilities
* master data processing: execute the review and approval of master data creation and maintenance requests in accordance with defined policies and business rules.
* master data support: provide day-to-day master data support for business applications, promptly addressing user inquiries and resolving issues.
* troubleshooting: diagnose and troubleshoot basic application problems, working with users and technical teams to identify root causes.
* data quality monitoring and remediation: monitor data quality performance and data health, ensuring accurate data and remediating issues before they impact users.
* user assistance: assist users with master data-related questions and provide training and documentation to help them effectively use the master data.
* incident management: manage and prioritize incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
* documentation: maintain comprehensive documentation of master data application configurations, support procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
* change management: participate in change management processes, ensuring master data application changes are tested and deployed smoothly.
* continuous improvement: identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance master data support and efficiency.
* perform other assigned job-related duties that align with our organization's vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice.
qualifications
education: bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
experience: less than one year of relevant or practical experience.
