We are looking for an EHS Engineer, that will drive, develops and implements programs and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment while protecting the environment. They identify hazards, assess risks, and create solutions to prevent accidents and environmental harm, ensuring compliance with regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Identifying Hazards and Risks:- Conducting workplace evaluations, risk assessments, and inspections to pinpoint potential hazards related to chemical exposure, noise, equipment, and other environmental factors.- Developing and Implementing EHS Programs:- Creating and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and programs to address identified hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.- Conducting Training:- Developing and delivering training programs to educate employees about EHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices.- Incident Investigation:- Investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.- Regulatory Compliance:- Ensuring the organization complies with all applicable EHS regulations and staying up-to-date on industry best practices.- Documentation and Reporting:- Maintaining EHS records, preparing reports, and managing databases related to EHS activities.- Collaboration and Communication:- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote EHS awareness and continuous improvement.Essential Skills and Qualifications:- Strong understanding of EHS principles, regulations, and best practices.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for training and collaboration.- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to safety and environmental protection.- Experience with EHS management systems and software.- Bachelor's degree in environmental, health, or safety engineering or a related field.
