the project manager for validation services in latin america will be responsible for establishing strategic relationships with local pharmaceutical regulatory authorities. The goal is to drive business development and enhance validation services across the ssb business segment.
responsibilities & tasks:
1. strengthen sartorius validation services presence and market share in latin america.
2. build strategic relationships with local pharmaceutical regulatory authorities and position the company as a regulatory consultant in the biopharmaceutical industry to enhance its technical reputation and support long-term business growth.
3. enhance ssb validation services and adopt a regulatory integrated approach by advancing customer consultancy strategies globally.
4. lead and oversee business development of validation services in collaboration with the sales team.
5. conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences in latin america, focusing on key industries requiring validation services.
6. develop tailored solutions that meet the regulatory requirements and business practices of latin american countries.
7. provide exceptional customer support and training to ensure effective utilization of sartorius services.
8. expand the sales network by recruiting local sales representatives familiar with the cultural and business landscape.
qualifications & skills:
1. bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical or chemical engineering; master’s degree preferred.
2. minimum of 5 years of experience in the life sciences industry, with at least 3 years in sales and/or marketing roles.
3. understanding of filtration, single-use technology, and their applications is preferred.
4. experience in risk analysis and process review.
5. knowledge of process development and cgmp bioprocessing (upstream, downstream, formulation, filling) is preferred.
6. strong understanding of regulations and regulatory filings, especially in local cgmp guidelines.
7. familiarity with regulatory documents, sterile processes, and single-use technology.
8. excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
9. strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams without direct authority.
11. proficiency in microsoft office suite.
12. bilingual in english and spanish.
13. willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
