purpose
contribute to the overall success of the data office by ensuring that data quality requirement definitions and the implementation of technological developments are correctly executed and aligned with the objectives and strategies of the business areas. Additionally, validates and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements established by supervisory authorities within the institution.
responsibilities
promotes a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage the bank's extensive customer network, systems, and expertise.
participates in cross-functional efforts between technology and business teams to ensure the correct execution and implementation of technological developments.
conduct analysis and prepare the required documentation for business requirements.
performs administrative and compliance processes for projects, ensuring accurate and complete documentation of required deliverables for the various committees, in accordance with current internal standards, policies, and guidelines.
supports the coordination, planning, and task follow-up, including monitoring project progress and timely identification of risks throughout the project lifecycle.
understands the bank's risk culture and how risk appetite should be considered in daily activities and decision-making.
executes effective and efficient operations within assigned areas while ensuring adequacy, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls. This includes attending obligations related to migration operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist-financing risk, and conduct risk, in alignment with the operational risk management framework, the regulatory compliance risk management framework, the international anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist-financing manual, and the guidelines for business conduct.
education / experience
bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, with experience in data quality, analytics, or business intelligence.
experience with data quality lifecycle, including data profiling, definition and implementation of data quality rules, data issue management, data architecture, and business intelligence.
strong analytical skills, with the ability to effectively identify, quantify, and elevate data quality risks.
experience understanding data usage from both operational and business perspectives, as well as its connection to technical development, storage, and retrieval, to assess data quality dimensions and their criticality.
intermediate interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to clearly communicate issues and status updates effectively.
intermediate english proficiency.
experience required: artificial intelligence (ai), python (pyspark, libraries), power bi, sql.
nice-to-have: knowledge of gcp (google cloud platform), data bricks.
