we are seeking a senior business development professional to lead the development of techno-commercial proposals for our integrated powertrain solutions business globally.
this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify customer requirements, develop comprehensive proposals, and ensure timely submission and order acceptance.
the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, sales, or proposals within the oil & gas, power generation, or service industries, with prior exposure to gas turbine technology preferred.
key responsibilities
 * develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion
 * collaborate with regional product development managers to align proposal strategies with sales objectives
 * prepare comprehensive proposals integrating execution plans, resource planning, and risk assessments tailored to project needs and customer expectations
 * conduct detailed cost and margin analysis, business and project risk evaluations, and develop bid approvals and handover documentation
 * influence and coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent on-time delivery
requirements
 * demonstrate strong professional attitude, cross-cultural awareness, and excellent communication skills in english
 * hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering (preferred) or business administration
 * be proficient in siemens energy proprietary tools and processes, with ability to analyze, plan, and execute strategies that align with organizational goals
 * be recognized as a strategic and analytical thinker, capable of operating independently with minimal supervision
