The team you will be a part of whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates to join our global strategic sourcing, as an commercial associate over global strategic sourcing within the direct procurement organization. The role is located in monterrey, mexico.
The associate will complement whirlpool’s nar gss strategy by delivering on cost, quality, and supply reliability goals for the company. In this role, you will have accountability for the assigned cooling system commodity, including but not limited to compressor, condenser, evaporator, heat exchanger among others refrigeration components. This position will engage cross-functional stakeholders and utilize effective supplier relationship management techniques and negotiations skills to drive and deliver cost savings, contract negotiations, engineering projects, dual sourcing strategies, complexity reduction and on time sourcing for new launches.
This role in summary the associate is responsible and accountable to carry commodity strategies, sourcing initiatives, supplier relationship management, and contracting aligned to whirlpool’s policies and kpis. The role will require some cross-functional iterations and requires th
