Project manager & rf engineering professional
* responsible for complete project management and drive the lifecycle of a project, estimate work and be a focal point for delivering on tasks and raise potential scope issues to the team.
* own the progress and predict risks (quality, timeline, and budget) as needed, take vital mitigations required to meet critical metrics, prioritize activities (self, team, external).
* accountable for meeting quality objectives, ensure that the team follows best rf engineering practices, quality processes, and methodologies, lead continuous improvement via root cause analysis, lessons learned, and prevention processes, track quality critical metrics, and act to continuously improve quality and measurements.
* promote clarity and alignment by communicating effectively on an ongoing basis to the project team on unit goals and status, project matters, companywide changes, special initiative status, etc.
* lead efficiently key partner relationships and communication to ensure that the project's delivery is aligned to meet not only customer requirements but to add value to the business as well.
* advocate works with project teams to understand the need for change, plan communicate, and execute the desired changes.
what we are looking for
* education: bs in engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent work experience required.
* experience: recent lte design experience with competing carriers, solid understanding of rf propagation principles, cellular theory, rf engineering tools, and antenna theory.
* skills: good understanding of hardware (nokia/ericsson) from network design perspective, experience with various drive test units, strong written verbal, and interpersonal skills, strong computer skills (unix, oracle db, excel macros, and sql programming a plus), moderate mapinfo skills, self-motivated, and ability to work under pressure.
