we are looking for a chief operating officer (coo) to lead and scale our operational business in mexico and drive execution excellence across the organization.
based in mexico city, the coo will oversee the company's core operational functions — including collections, product management and vendor management — and will have full ownership of operational performance and scalability.
this role is ideal for a hands-on fintech operations leader with experience in consumer lending, credit cards or digital finance who enjoys building and scaling high-performance operational organizations.

drive operational excellence through data, technology and automation while ensuring strong portfolio performance and cost efficiency.
key areas of responsibility
operations strategy:
• build scalable operational frameworks that support rapid growth
• define and monitor key performance indicators across operations
• implement automation and technology solutions to improve efficiency
collections & portfolio performance:
• lead collections strategy including internal teams and external agencies
• optimize recovery performance through segmentation, analytics and ai tools
• maintain strong portfolio quality
team leadership:
• build and lead high-performing teams across operations
• develop strong operational culture focused on performance and accountability
product & execution:
• act as operational product owner for the credit card product
• work closely with technology and growth teams to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
financial discipline:
• manage operational budget and improve cost efficiency
• support financial planning and forecasting
vendor ecosystem:
• manage bpo partners, collection agencies, technology vendors and data providers
profile
• 10+ years experience in fintech, lending, credit cards or consumer finance
• proven track record scaling operations in high-growth environments
• deep understanding of collections strategy and portfolio management
• strong analytical and data-driven mindset
• experience building and managing large operational teams
• strong leadership and execution capabilities
