The sr. Logistics & trade compliance specialist leverages data to garner strategic insights, guide logistics planning, and ensure full compliance with international trade and local mexican laws. This role is critical in driving business results by managing the flow of merchandise while mitigating risks through expert regulatory knowledge.
Key responsibilities
trade compliance & regulation: ensure all sourcing and logistics activities adhere to mexico’s trade laws, including product labeling, certifications, and import/export requirements.
Business driving skills: extract and analyze information from multiple sources to make informed decisions and adjust logistics strategies to respond to changing market needs.
Strategy execution: create a vision for trade operations, design the execution strategy, and focus on priorities that have the greatest impact on business profitability.
Data analysis: accurately analyze market trends and re‑forecast business plans accordingly (e.g., unit needs per quarter, shipping volumes, and timeline adjustments).
Relationship management: maintain high standards of integrity and trust in communication with vendors and internal global partners.
Operational excellence: partner with the sourcing and buying teams to understand global sourcing opportunities and ensure effective 'time and action' plans.

Qualifications
language: fully bilingual in english and spanish.
Experience: proven experience in logistics and international trade compliance (specifically within the mexican legal framework).
Communication: strong verbal and non‑verbal skills to assimilate information and influence beneficial outcomes for the corporation.
