General responsibilities
1. manage immex program operations.
2. develop and implement strategies to ensure policy adherence, procedures, and systems related to imports and exports, with a focus on immex programs and applicable local, regional, and global trade compliance policies.
3. report any regulatory changes that may affect customs operations.
4. recommend appropriate international terms for import and export transactions. Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, collaborating with the client’s customs team and customs advisors.
5. lead the team responsible for issuing, receiving, and managing export certificates of origin for applicable free trade agreements locally.
6. oversee the delivery of fiscal audits related to customs processes, including immex programs.
