role purpose
this role functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations, involving active participation in daily operations only when necessary. The role includes managing projects to enhance efficiency.
key responsibilities
1. supervise employees directly to accomplish tasks.
2. implement and enforce policies affecting employees.
3. oversee daily operations of the unit.
4. achieve specific goals within set criteria regarding time, cost, and quality, and manage resource allocation.
5. coordinate with colleagues at various levels to ensure operational continuity and efficiency.
6. maintain confidentiality of information and materials.
7. ensure projects are completed on schedule according to procedures.
8. provide coaching and mentorship to staff.
9. lead the department's talent planning process.
minimum qualifications
* bachelor's degree in a related field.
* preference for experience working with and through people.
preferred qualifications
* proven performance in the relevant field.
* 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
* 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
