in omron mexico we are looking for our next accountant.
our accountant will be responsible for accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information in a shared services environment
responsibilities :
* assist in month end close and reporting process
* review ledger accounts, recommend and prepare adjusting journal entries
* perform account analysis and reconciliation
* prepare, record and analyze accounting transactions
* ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records
* identify opportunities to streamline business processes and procedures to improve efficiency of the month / quarter close process
* assist with internal control evaluations
* participate in the documentation and execution of accounting projects
* support various operational activities, audit deliverables, ad hoc projects or analyses as requested
* interact daily with accounting team and internal customers
* provide mentorship to team members
education, experience and certifications :
education : bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent education
experience : typically, 2-5 years of accounting experience

technical abilities : technologically savvy with proficiency in ms office suite and working with erp, accounting and reporting software; experience with oracle jd edwards enterpriseone accounting software and hyperion financial management (hfm) a plus.
