We are looking for a commercial and analytical professional with experience in transportation, grain trade, logistics execution, and customer relationship management to join our team as a grain merchant.
this role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, solving operational challenges, negotiating freight, and identifying business opportunities within agricultural supply chains.
what you’ll do
* analyze grain market trends, supply & demand, and logistics opportunities.
* manage daily truck trade execution and transportation strategy.
* build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
* negotiate freight rates and optimize transportation costs.
* coordinate logistics execution and solve day-to-day operational issues.
* support commercial growth through customer development and market intelligence.
* monitor positions, margins, and business performance.
what we’re looking for
* 2+ years of experience in cross-country truck trade, grain merchandising, logistics, transportation, or similar.
* experience negotiating freight and managing carrier relationships.
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* commercial mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* knowledge of agricultural supply chains, commodity flows, or grain markets is a plus.
* experience in transportation, agribusiness, supply chain, or commodity trading preferred.
* advanced or conversational english preferred.
* valid visa and passport required.
