Process improvement consultant for finance transformation
the role involves supporting a large financial institution in its transformation program, requiring 3-5 years of relevant experience. The scope encompasses modernizing core record to report processes, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment.
responsibilities:
* lead finance transformation projects focused on process improvement, efficiency, and compliance.
* assess current financial processes, identify gaps and risks.
* design and implement future-state processes aligned with business goals.
* support the deployment of new finance technologies and tools.
* create and present process maps, kpis, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
* collaborate across finance, it, risk, and compliance teams to ensure alignment.
* monitor project milestones, budgets, and benefits realization.
qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, industrial engineering, accounting, or related field; master's preferred.
* at least 7 years of experience in finance transformation, process improvement, or consulting within financial services.
* proven leadership in banking finance functions such as fp&a, regulatory reporting, treasury, or risk management.
* hands-on experience with process reengineering, operating models, and finance systems (sap, oracle, hyperion, workday).
* knowledge of lean six sigma, automation (rpa, ai/ml).
* strong understanding of finance processes, data analysis, and process mapping tools.
* proficiency in excel, powerpoint, visio; familiarity with power bi or tableau is a plus.
* understanding of banking regulations is preferred.
