As the chief financial officer for louis vuitton, you will serve as a distinguished ambassador of the brand. This role encompasses the comprehensive oversight of finance, logistics, and information systems & technology (is&t) for the louis vuitton operations across mexico, the caribbean, and central america. You will be instrumental in providing strategic financial insights and will play a pivotal role in the leadership and decision-making processes of the organization.

responsibilities
* financial strategy & reporting: drive the overall financial strategy of the organization, aligning financial goals with long-term business objectives and market dynamics. Direct the comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring robust financial planning that supports the achievement of profitability targets and sustainable growth. Ensure the precision and integrity of all financial accounting, reporting, and internal control systems, including meticulous management of internal controls, inventory management, and adherence to all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards. Lead and oversee both internal and external audit processes, guaranteeing transparency, accuracy, and full compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, ensuring the long-term stability and security of the organization\'s assets.
* operational & business optimization: provide executive oversight for all logistics operations, encompassing the entire supply chain from import and export activities to warehousing, distribution, and efficient reverse logistics. Manage and optimize it support services across the organization, ensuring robust and reliable technological infrastructure to support business operations. Champion continuous operational and organizational improvements, identifying and implementing efficiencies that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Lead vendor negotiations and manage the vendor onboarding process, ensuring advantageous terms and strong supplier relationships.
* strategic leadership & advisory: serve as a pivotal strategic business partner to the country manager and senior management team, providing insightful financial analysis, data-driven recommendations, and critical support to all departments. Lead the evaluation, planning, and execution of key investment initiatives and strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing return on investment. Collaborate closely with internal and external legal counsel on pertinent legal matters and ensure the establishment and rigorous implementation of policies, procedures, and regulations to guarantee compliance with financial and tax reporting standards, as well as all applicable regulatory laws and rules.
* talent development & team leadership: foster a high-performing finance and operations team through effective development, coaching, and mentorship, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Contribute to the overall leadership of the organization, embodying its values and driving a collaborative, results-oriented work environment.
* organizational structure/reporting relationship: internal: general manager, commercial, hr, legal, across all functions; external: lvmh, vendors, external auditors, law firm, financial institutions, property management, companies (lease).
qualifications
* bs in accounting/finance
* minimum 10 years of finance related experience
* high level of integrity and responsibility with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
* drive for excellence
* critical and proactive thinking
* ability to identify risks and opportunities
* excellent communication skills in both oral and writing to all levels
* ability to deal with conflict, ambiguity, work under pressure
* ability to lead and develop teams and ensure efficiency and productivity
* problem solving
* project management skills
* fluent in english and spanish
* retail industry experience and/or multinational company experience is a must
