Full-stack developer (ai logic & prompt engineering) – contract to hire
we're a fast-growing u.s.-based digital marketing and automation agency building next-generation ai systems for business.
we're looking for a serious full-stack developer (or a strong frontend + backend hybrid) who can combine clean design, practical logic, and applied ai development.
you'll work directly with our ceo and automation team to structure ai logic, integrate systems, and create user-friendly frontends that bring our ai tools to life.
this is a remote, full-time contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right person.
what you'll do
* structure ai logic and prompts using training materials and frameworks we provide.
* design smooth, modern user experiences (using figma or similar tools).
* build or integrate the ui into a wordpress or webflow frontend.
* develop and connect user systems and dashboards, such as:
* user login & subscription: memberstack or firebase auth + stripe
* frontend portal: wordpress (elementor) or webflow
* gpt hosting: openai api via backend or iframe a public gpt
* usage tracking: google analytics + internal database (airtable, supabase, or firebase)
* payment processing: stripe (subscription logic, cancel/update functionality)
* admin panel: basic internal dashboard or airtable/notion as interim solution
* work with apis (especially openai or other ai apis) to bring automation and intelligence into our systems.
* implement frontend and backend connections using modern frameworks and clear, scalable logic.
skills & experience required
* strong frontend and backend development experience (react, webflow, wordpress, or similar frameworks).
* proficiency in javascript,, or php (firebase or supabase backend experience a plus).
* knowledge of user authentication systems (memberstack, firebase auth, or custom).
* experience with stripe integrations (subscriptions, access control, cancellation logic).
* skilled at working with apis - ideally openai or similar.
* ability to design in figma or collaborate with designers on user flows.
* strong understanding of prompt engineering concepts (you'll be trained on our structure).
* english communication skills (written and spoken).
bonus points for
experience hosting or embedding gpt or ai tools inside web platforms.
prior work with automation platforms, zapier, gohighlevel).
familiarity with marketing or saas user flows (sign-up → paywall → dashboard).
