Traffic operations analyst (remote) about the role
we are growing rapidly and looking for a new team member to join our small but high-performing operations team. This role works directly with the traffic lead and reports to the traffic manager. Our business operates in live, high-stakes environments where performance, revenue, and ad operations must be monitored in real time—similar to a trading desk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn affiliate marketing, performance marketing, and how a fast-moving media buying team operates. During the first 30 days, you will shadow the team, learn the systems and tools, and begin working with daily performance data and analytics.
team structure
* small, focused team of two: a traffic lead and an analyst
* this role will operate at the same level as the current analyst

key responsibilities live operations monitoring
* monitor live media buying systems throughout the day
* triage and resolve issues in real time using data analysis
* identify risks early and communicate solutions
cap & quota management
* manage daily traffic caps and allocations
* distribute volume strategically across teams based on performance and capacity
* ensure quotas are filled consistently and efficiently
lead delivery monitoring
* track pacing throughout the day
* flag delivery issues and adjust as needed
* ensure smooth, consistent, and strategic lead flow
cross-functional coordination
* communicate with media buyers, affiliates, vendors, and internal teams
* maintain smooth operational execution across all stakeholders
performance analysis & reporting
* pull and analyze daily performance data
* identify trends, risks, and opportunities
* update dashboards and trackers accurately and on time
systems & data management
* maintain tracking platforms, spreadsheets, and dashboards
* ensure data accuracy and system consistency
analytical & technical expectations
* strong comfort working with numbers and datasets
* ability to use excel or google sheets for analysis
* capable of building simple models or using ai tools for data analysis
* fast learner with the ability to understand new systems quickly
