your key responsibilities
* oversee specialized or general accounting operations of a team of qualified professionals and coordinators, for an assigned organizational unit.
* oversee adherence to accounting standards, processes and formats.
* oversee and assign business activities, receipts and bills to the corresponding intercompanies accounts.
* ensure the smooth functioning of routine accounting activities and processes.
* complete regular - monthly, quarterly, and yearly - closings and reports, for all stakeholders.
* ensure timely payments to intercompany suppliers and collections from intercompany clients
* supervise the preparation of bank reconciliations for accounts payable (ap) and accounts receivable (ar).
* supervise account statement reconciliations with intercompany vendors/clients.
* review and monitor ap and ar aging, ensuring efficient account management.
* ensure correct execution of controls and application of policies and procedures, proposing improvements to minimize risks and enhance efficiency.
* follow up on kpis and oversee f110 payment proposal preparation.
* supervise daily posting of deposits to intercompany client accounts, ensuring proper application to outstanding invoices and offsets.
* support employees in solving problems promptly and effectively
your qualifications
* graduate degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field
* 3 to 5 years
* proven experience in intercompany accounting, accounts payable, or related financial operations, including leadership or supervisor roles
* fluency in spanish and english (written and spoken) is required.
* strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* proficiency in accounting software and microsoft office suite, with advanced knowledge of excel preferred.
* experience with erp systems sap.
* strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
