your path to a high-impact healthcare data & quality career
as a financial accounting analyst (workday), you will support financial and accounting operations for u.s.-based healthcare clients using workday financials. This role requires a strong accounting foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to work with financial data and systems to support accurate reporting and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is analytical, eager to learn enterprise financial systems, and capable of translating transactional and system data into reliable insights while supporting configuration, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives under senior guidance.
what you’ll do
what you’ll do:
· respond to end‑user inquiries and troubleshoot workday financials issues across modules.
· support finance and accounting operations including reconciliations, ap/ar, cash management, and month‑end close activities.
· assist in creating and maintaining workday reports and dashboards.
· participate in configuration updates, documentation, and testing cycles (unit, system, uat).
· execute eib data loads and support data validation, reconciliation, and clean-up efforts.
· support workday release analysis, regression testing, and updates to training materials.
· collaborate with finance and it to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
who you are
education & experience:
· bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
· 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience (ap/ar, gl, reconciliations, month‑end close).
· exposure to workday (or similar erp) accounting and financials through a user role, support, testing, reporting, or light configuration.
skills & characteristics
· understanding of internal controls and audit support.
· strong excel skills and comfort with data analysis and reconciliations.
· strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
