boathouse service is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable ship store counter associate to support daily operations in our marine parts store. This role includes assisting customers at the counter, identifying the correct marine parts and products, stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory.
the ideal candidate has hands‐on experience with marine parts and brings a professional, customer focused approach to every interaction.
responsibilities
* assist customers at the counter with purchases and parts inquiries; accurately and efficiently process transactions; help customers identify the correct marine parts, supplies, and accessories; provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service.
* stock shelves and maintain organized product displays; keep the retail environment clean and professional; rotate and organize inventory as needed.
* count and track inventory regularly; monitor stock levels and notify management when items need reordering; receive, unpack, and organize incoming merchandise.
qualifications
* minimum 2 years of experience with marine parts or in a marine supply/service environment.
* strong knowledge of boating parts, supplies, and accessories.
* ability to help customers identify correct parts.
* reliable, punctual, detail oriented, and organized.
* professional customer service skills.
* basic computer/pos experience preferred.
* ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
